WHAT DOES A ZHMICRO Z++ VISUAL OPPORTUNITY LOOK LIKE

BEST SCENARIO -

  • 1) A brand new project, versus enhancements/additions to existing applications
  • 2) All C++
  • 3) More than one target platform (example: Windows + Linux + Mobile are all targeted for the deployed application)
  • 4) Client will accept a bid based on VALUE, versus simply lowest price/hour, day or lines of code.

VERY GOOD SCENARIO, BUT NEEDS A CLOSER LOOK -

  • 1) Existing C++ application, where the new project would be treated as just another new "service" of the overall legacy system. In this case, Z++ would be used as a "wrapper" around the C++ system. The difference is that Z++ does not require ANY OS-specific C++ coding; our Z47 Virtual Processor (which resides on the target platform) handles all OS calls, inter-process communications, threads, etc. Thus, the amount of code is cut in 1/2 at least.
  • 2) More than one target platform (example: Windows + Linux + Mobile are all targeted for the deployed application)
  • 3) Client will accept a bid based on VALUE, versus simply lowest price/hour, day or lines of code.

NOT A GOOD FIT -

  • 1) An environment totally standardized on any language other than C++. JAVA, .NET, C#, C: If their application environment does not use C++ at all, we are not a good fit. Z++ is built on C++. It is a just a more modernized, easier, more efficient way to write C++ code.
  • 2) Also, If your client is only developing on ONE platform and NEVER plans to run the app on any other platform (be it LINUX, UNIX, Mobile, iPhone, Symbian etc.). They probably don't care about our "write once, run everywhere" capability. However, what are the chances they are absolutely positive they will NEVER want to port the app to another platform? Not likely, but it is possible.
